Sussex Police was called to the scene in Buckley Place, Crawley Down, shortly before 11pm on Sunday (August 2).

A spokesman said officers have continued to search for the young men who ran off with suspected facial or head injuries.

The spokesman said: “Their blue Peugeot 106 was in collision with a parked silver Honda CR-V and it is believed the men may have received head or facial injuries in the crash.

“They ran from the scene and police officers supported by dog units and a police helicopter conducted a search of the area, but without success.
