Jewellery and £4000 in cash was stolen from a house in Tinsley Green on Wednesday September 30.

Police are appealing for witnesses to the crime, which happened at a house in Radford Road.

A downstairs front window was broken and an untidy search of the property was carried out.

Investigating officer Elena Mannan said: “The homeowners were out between 8.50am and 3.45pm, so this break-in will have happened during daylight hours next to a fairly busy road.

“If you saw anyone acting suspiciously in the area please email 101@sussex.pnn.police.ukor call 101 quoting reference 1016 of 30/09.”
