Man arrested in connection with Crawley knife attack robbery

A man has been arrested in connection with a knife point robbery in Crawley yesterday (Tuesday May 13).

Police were called to Southgate Parade at 3pm to reports of a robbery at the newsagents. One man received wounds to his hand and bottom. His injuries are not life threatening.

A 48-year-old man from Crawley has been arrested for robbery and GBH, said police. He remains in custody at this time.
