Man charged with assaulting a police officer and being drunk and disorderly in Crawley town centre

A man has been charged with assaulting an officer and being drunk and disorderly in Crawley town centre.

Andrew Wright, 26, of Furzefield, West Green, has been bailed to appear before Crawley magistrates on October 7, said police.

He was arrested after officers were called to a disturbance at the Tree Annex, High Street, at around 11.40am on Wednesday (September 23).
