Police appeal after man followed girl, 11, through Crawley park

Police have appealed for witnesses after a man followed an 11-year-old girl through a Crawley park.

A spokesman for Sussex Police said officers were informed about a man who is believed to have followed an 11-year-old girl through Maidenbower Park just before 6pm on Saturday, October 3.

She said: “The man did not speak to the girl or touch her. The man was described as mixed race, around 6ft and was wearing grey tracksuit top and jeans.

“Police are urging anyone who saw a man acting suspiciously in the area or sees a man matching this description acting strangely to contact police on 101@sussex.pnn.police.uk”
