Police have appealed for witnesses after a man was stabbed in Crawley town centre.

Emergency services were called to the scene in The Boulevard at 2pm today (Sunday October 18).

A police spokesman said the man was taken to East Surrey Hospital to be treated for a leg wound.

Officers investigating the stabbing cordoned off the area between the Post Office and HSBS bank, The Boulevard, and Northgate Road.

No arrests have been made.
