Police are appealing for witnesses after an assault

Police conducted house to house enquiries after being called to argument between two men.

Officers were called to Ross Close, Tilgate, at 8.55pm on Tuesday (March 22).

A police sopkesman said: “Officers in attendance spoke to both men, and conducted house to house enquiries, and were stood down shortly after 10.30pm.”
