Police are hunting for a gang of burglars who targeted Crawley businesses.

Burglars broke into three businesses in the same building in Gatwick Road overnight on August 6.

A spokesman for Crawley Police said it was likely a £2,000 burglary at the Subway, Gatwick Road, was carried out by the same gang on August 2.

The contents of cash boxes, laptop and a small float was stolen from Barbers, Taylor Sims and Deluxe Services between 6pm on August 6 and 9am on August 7.

Some £2,000 was stolen from the nearby Subway at 11.40pm on August 2.

Its alarm was activated after a rear window of the building was smashed.

The cash was stolen after two safes were broken into using an angle grinder.

Witnesses were asked to call 101 quoting 0269 07/08.
