A skateboarder assaulted a member of cabin crew after landing at Gatwick Airport, said police.

Sergeant Darren Taylor said the man was dealt with police on Sunday (October 11).

He tweeted: “The team dealt with an incident where a member of cabin crew was assaulted by a passenger upon landing into Gatwick

“The passenger and his friends were easy to find as they were both carrying skateboards. Anyway after they were dealt with by us.

“Immigration only allowed them 48 hours in the UK so they could go straight to Heathrow and get their flight to Los Angeles”
