A 17-year-old boy from Crawley has been charged with robbery and a public order offence.

The teenager and an 18-year-old man were arrested shortly after a 21-year-old man was robbed of his iPhone 4 at knifepoint in the very early hours of Thursday April 26 as he walked along Woolborough Road, Crawley.

Two suspects fled the scene on bicycles but were caught by a patrolling officer.

The 18-year-old suspect, also arrested on suspicion of robbery, has been bailed until June 2 pending further enquiries.
