Two more arrests in Crawley drugs operation

Two Crawley men were arrested on drugs offences on Monday (February 9) as police continue a crackdown on drugs in the town.

A spokesperson for South East Regional Organised Crime Unit (SEROCU) said Martin Jones, 27, of Leveret Lane, Langley Green was charged with conspiracy to supply controlled drugs Class A.

He is due to appear in Lewes Crown Court on March 5.

A 27-year-old man from Crawley was also arrested and has been bailed.

Three people have been remanded in custody to appear at Lewes Crown Court on Friday February 27 after appearing at Brighton Magistrates’ Court on Saturday (February 7).

Kharram Chaudary, 34, of Anglesey Close, Broadfield, Andrew Peplar, 29, of Forge Way, Billingshurst, near Horsham, and Daniel Kearsey, 31, of Deerswood Road, West Green have all been charged with conspiracy to supply controlled drugs Class A.
