Police have appealed for information after a Crawley church’s cash box was stolen in a burglary.

A spokesman for Sussex Police said entry was forced at St Francis and St Anthony Church in Haslett Avenue West between 8am and 10.30pm on Friday (July 24) or between 8am and 11am on Saturday.

The cash box contained £100 in cash.

Anyone with information was asked to contact police on 101@sussex.pnn.police.uk quoting serial 610 of 25/7.
