VIDEO: Hunt for man who urinated on car before punching window

Police are hunting for a man who urinated on a car before punching through a window to a home.

Officers said two men were spotted entering a driveway in Backwoods Lane, Lindfield, in the early hours of Sunday November 6, last year.

One man urinated on a car and was recorded calling out abusive remarks towards the occupants of the house, police said.

He appeared to know the victims by name although they have viewed the images and do not know him, officers added.

The same man then approached the front door of the house and punched a stain glass window causing nearly £1000 of damage.

He was encouraged by the other man before both ran off with a young woman, who stood nearby but did not take part.

PC Henry Child said: “Extensive local enquiries have not yet been successful. This was an unpleasant incident which caused distress to the people living there and we hope someone may recognise the man in the picture.”
