Crawley singer-songwriter Danny Dangerously and his band will support rock and roll legends The Blockheads this month.
Danny, 34, of Broadfield, and The Avengers will be the opening act at the gig at the Balcombe Club on April 26.
Danny, who started playing music when he was 16, said: “It’s a big deal for me. I’ve been working quite hard with my own music so it’s nice to get some recognition and have the opportunity to do something like this.”
He said the Balcombe Club had a capacity of 600 people and were aiming to sell out for the show.
Danny added: “The gig’s going to be awesome.
“I’m a massive fan of The Blockheads, I’ve always listened to their stuff.
“We are just going to go there, have a good time and hopefully share that with the people that come as well.”
Danny described his set as a mix of alternative hip-hop and punk rock.
The gig will take place at 7.30pm in Victory Hall, Stockcroft Road, Balcombe, Haywards Heath RH17 6HP.
