Several bulky items were stolen during a daylight burglary in Crawley, Sussex Police has said.

A 41-year-old man came home to his ground floor flat, in Ivory Walk, on Thursday (August 13) to find a number of items had been taken including a full length back massager and an air purifier.

Sussex Police said the crime must have taken place some time between 10am and 3pm that day.

Police are now appealing for witnesses.

Investigator Rebecca Doherty said: “This incident happened during the middle of the day and some of the items missing are quite bulky.

“Because of their size we believe the suspect would have needed to transport the stolen goods in a vehicle, otherwise they would have been quite noticeable if travelling by foot.”

Witnesses can email 101@sussex.pnn.police.uk or call 101 quoting reference 0946 of 13/08.
