Film fans will be having the time of their lives when Crawley High Street plays host to an open air showing of Dirty Dancing.
The 1987 blockbuster, starring Patrick Swayze and Jennifer Grey, will be screened on Saturday August 2 from 9pm.
The event has been organised by Crawley Borough Council in conjunction with Pixel Tree UK.
A council spokesman said: “Bring your chairs along so you can soak up the atmosphere and settle in for an entertaining evening. There will also be limited seating available for hire on the night.”
Cllr Chris Mullins, Cabinet member for Leisure and Culture, added: “We want to encourage everyone to come along to the open-air cinema and make an evening of it by enjoying a meal or drink at one of the many bars and restaurants nearby.”
During the day, local functions band, Strobe, will be performing on the bandstand in Queens Square from noon-3pm playing a range of well-known music throughout the decades.
Performances are weather permitting and subject to change.
