Students at Holy Trinity CofE School in Crawley has smashed its pass rate target with 63 per cent of them gaining five or more A* to C grades including English and Maths.
Receiving their results this morning, 70 per cent of the pupils there achieve A*-C grades across all subjects and 12 of them )six per cent) gained ten or more A* or A grades.
Some 89 students (43 percent) achieved eight or more A* to B grades.
Headteacher Paul Kennedy said: “I’m delighted that the hard work and dedication of our staff and young people has resulted in such an excellent outcome for our young people. Our target for five plus including English and maths was 59 per cent so this year we have broken through our target just like last year.
“I’m so pleased to build on last year’s results and continue our journey to become a great school.
“I’m very proud of all the students and staff as this is a just reward for their effort.
“I’m particularly delighted for the English and maths departments who have both achieved amazing results in a very difficult national landscape.”
