Firefighters freed a man trapped in a lift at a Gatwick hotel.

West Sussex Fire and Rescue Service was called to the Premier Inn in Longbridge Way at 7.35pm on Monday (August 3).

A spokesman said firefighters used a hand winch to raise the lift to floor level before opening the doors and freeing the man using keys.
