Firefighters have put out flames in a garage attached to a home.

The Crawley crew last night tackled the fire in Pound Hill with breathing gear and a hose after being called to the scene in Matthey Place, at 10.40pm.

A spokesman for West Sussex Fire and Rescue Service said it was an accident, and damaged ten per cent of the garage.
