Hand tools worth £4,000 stolen

Hand tools worth around £4,000 were stolen from the back of a van which was parked at a hotel.

The van had been left overnight at the Premier Inn between Tuesday December 16 and Wednesday December 17 when the thief struck. A spokesman for Sussex Police said the tools included drills, laser levels, a rib saw and batteries. She added: “These tools were ‘security’ marked with black marker pen.” Witnesses or anyone with information can contact police on 101 quoting serial number 0146 of 17/12.
