Hazelwick School pupil will open GCSE results live on This Morning

A brave Hazelwick School student will open her GCSE results in front of millions of people – live on ITV’s This Morning tomorrow (Thursday August 20th).

16-year-old Isabel Summers, from Crawley, has been invited by the show, to find out live on air whether she has got the results she needs to go on to study A-levels.

Isabel has taken 10 GCSEs in biology, chemistry, physics, English language, English literature, maths, history, geography, Latin and Spanish. She’s hoping for A*s and As so she can stay on at Hazelwick to do her A-levels before going to university to study medicine.

“I am anxious about my results as the exams were quite hard,” said Isabel. “So I am hoping I have done OK. I am nervous about opening my results live on TV but I think it will be a great experience and something I can look back on.”

Ann Fearon, principal at Hazelwick School, said: “Isabel is an outstandingly able and talented student who commits herself fully to everything that she undertakes, always showing complete dedication and perseverance. She is utterly delightful, a real asset to our school and fully deserves every success.”
