LETTER: Delighted with parade revamp
It is bright and modern and a generally a pleasure to walk through. Full marks to Paul and his team from Edburton Contractors, who managed to allow access to all premises during an extremely complicated paving process. Pathways were well signed and the workers were friendly and helpful, surely deserving their membership of the Courteous Constructors Scheme and their registration to the ISO 9001 Quality standard.
Now all we need are several large and legible “No cycling” signs and a frequent police presence to enforce them (especially just before and after school opening times). This would ensure that the elderly and very young could have a more pleasant and safer shopping experience.
