LETTER: Petanque will be popular

It was good to see councillor Chris Mullins did not give up on his idea to open a petanque pitch in Crawley, but his critics were not against the actual idea but were against placing it in the Memorial Gardens and especially when it would have cost £2,500 as a temporary measure to see if it would be used.

. If he finds a suitable location within the town where he can establish more than one strip then as a resident I’m sure it will be very popular.
