The torrential rain of Saturday had the decency to stay away when the 18th Crawley Irish Festival hit the Hawth today (Sunday August 25).
The theatre and its grounds were packed and music and dance were the order of the day.
The festival, organised by the Celtic and Irish Cultural Society, was officially opened by the Mayor Cllr Bob Burgess.
It even boasted a big screen in the ground so that football fans could keep track of the All-Ireland Senior Championships.
