A ‘great evening’ for Alzheimer’s Society

More than 100 people attended a summer concert organised by Alzheimer’s Society’s Crawley Forward-Thinking Group.

The concert saw visitors enjoy specially selected songs and poems, followed by a Dementia Café at St Margaret’s Church, Ifield. Group member Fred Hutcherson said: “It was a fantastic evening. There were about 125 people who attended and everyone seemed to have a great time and it was lots of fun.” During the café, there were special guest appearances from the Silver Shimmies and Deb’s Egyptian Dancers, as well as John Beaver.
