Help is on hand for Crawley Homes tenants worried about their finances or not sure which benefits they could claim.

Fay Power, Crawley Borough Council’s financial inclusion officer, holds weekly Money Matters sessions at Broadfield Community Hub to provide advice and support.

Fay said: “Since starting my post in June 2013 I have worked with more than 200 tenants and have successfully secured a total exceeding £150,000 a year in additional funding – a figure made up of a range of welfare benefits, charitable grants and reduced debts.”

Money Matters drop-in sessions are held every Wednesday from 2-4pm at Broadfield Community Hub, Broadfield Library. The next session will take place on March 12.
