Central Sussex College students raising cash for Children in Need

Staff and students at Central Sussex College raised £690 for Children in Need thanks to a week of fundraising.

Childcare students raised £200 with their cake stalls while media students opened a photobooth and invited fellow students and staff to get creative and raid a box of props before posing for photos for a small fee. Business students donated money to take part in their own version of Dragons’ Den while staff paid to take part in a dress-down day and a ‘wear something spotty’ day. One brave soul - Cesar Ferreira, 17, from Broadfield - decided to have his legs waxed for charity. Forgoing the salon experience, he sold wax strips to friends and classmates who took turns to use them!
