Bid to build 50 homes is refused

An application to build 50 residential homes on Haroldsea Drive, Horley, has been refused.

Planning officers recommended Reigate and Banstead Borough Council refuse the application because it would harm the character and appearance of the rural area. Neighbours raised concerns over traffic congestion, flooding and harm to the countryside.
