These fox cubs were rescued from a garden in Gossops Green after being separated from their mother when builders erected a new fence.

The pair – named Sooty and Sweep – were take in by the Care For The Wild wildlife charity, where carer Tarnya Knight fed them by hand. A volunteer then took them back to the garden in the hope the mother would return for them. While she took the male, she did not return for the female, who will be taken in by the Fox Project until she is able to look after herself and be released back into the wild.
