Firefighters were called to a flood at Crawley Hospital on Sunday morning (September 29).
A burst water main caused a large leak into the hospital’s undercroft corridor at about 8.30am.
Water had to be pumped out by the fire and rescue crew and the area was cleared by lunchtime.
A spokesman for NHS Property Services said: “We are pleased to confirm that the incident had no impact on clinical services provided at the hospital.
“We will be inspecting the affected area as soon as is practicable, but believe it unlikely that any long-term damage has resulted from this incident.”
