Firefighters start a 24-hour strike at 9am

Firefighters were called to a car fire at Sainsbury’s petrol station in Crawley yesterday (Sunday May 18).

Two fire engines were called to the incident in Crawley Avenue, West Green, at around 2.15pm.

West Sussex Fire and Rescue said the fire was out by the time the engines arrived. No one was hurt.
