Pupils at Hazelwick School, in Three Bridges, discovered an array of different careers during an informative competition.

Employees of G4S Secure Solutions (UK) visited the school last Wednesday (February 13) and Year 10 pupils gave them a grilling as they competed to guess their job titles.

The 14 and 15 year olds took it in turn to speak to professionals ranging from human resources and marketing employees to a serving policeman, a lawyer, a civil engineer and even a headwear designer.

Sarah Andrews, head of inclusion at the school, said at the event: “Today was a real success and the feedback from pupils was fantastic.

“I would like to thank Val, the G4S team and the other business volunteers for all their support.

“The advice they gave pupils was incredibly useful and I know the pupils thoroughly enjoyed meeting them.”
