Small businesses across West Sussex have been given a boost with the return of a £600,000 support fund.
The money is part of West Sussex County Council’s ‘Be the Business’ programme, which supports micro, small and medium sized businesses across the county.
The aim is to help start up new enterprises, offer established companies an opportunity to grow their business and help create jobs in the county.
Council leader Louise Goldsmith said: “Boosting the local economy and creating jobs is one of the council’s top priorities, and anything we can do to help create the right conditions for economic growth is a step in the right direction.”
