Child hurt in collision with car
AN eight-year-old boy was taken to hospital yesterday (Thursday September 13) after being involved in a collision with a car as he rode his bike.
The incident happened at around 5pm on Punch Copse Road in Three Bridges, Crawley.
The boy suffered minor injuries including abdomen pain and was taken to Royal Sussex County Hospital in Brighton.
A spokesman for Sussex Police said: “The boy who was riding the bike was in a collision with a Hyundai car being driven by a local man.
“No one else was injured in the collision.”
A spokesman for the South East Coast Ambulance Service added: “Clinicians in a car and an ambulance attended the scene.”
