Clinic's Christmas toy offer
FESTIVE customers brought a good dose of Christmas cheer when they donated toys in return for their chiropractic treatments.
Staff at the West Sussex Chiropractic Clinic on Southgate Parade, Southgate, got into the seasonal spirit when they offered their treatments on Wednesday (December 10) for the price of a gift - instead of their usual fee.
The toys will be collected by the Salvation Army in time to be wrapped and delivered to children in the community for Christmas.
Mei-Mei Heryet, who works at the practise, said: "I told everyone that if they came in on this day they could get their adjustment for a toy and the best thing is they were saying 'well I can't make it on that day' and they were donating anyway.
"We just want to help support the children in Crawley, all these toys are going to the kids in Crawley, it's really important to have community support and everyone likes to see good news at Christmas,
especially this year.
"We've still got more to come in, we're open til 8pm and we've still got another 15 or so customers to come.
"We've had Early Learning toys and Meccano, they're not all cuddlies, we've got musical toys, just a really wide variety.
"The whole point is that all the kids Crawley don't miss out."
