Community resolution after ‘voilent threats’
TWO men were arrested on suspicion of making violent threats to a town centre resident on Saturday night (September 1).
They were arrested for public order offences at 11pm on the High Street.
Police dealt with the issue by way of a community resolution, meaning the complainant and suspect entered into an agreement.
A police spokesman said: “Often victims would rather receive an apology rather than go through the court process that can go on for 18 months.”
