Concern for vulnerable Horley pensioner

Surrey Police is appealing for the public’s help in tracing a woman in her 70s who went missing from her home address in Horley yesterday evening (Saturday, 26 April).

Patricia Boniface, 78, was last seen by her husband at their home in Smallfield around 6pm.

A spokesman for Surrey Police said Mrs Boniface appears to be fit and well but has Alzheimer’s and her family and officers are growing increasingly concerned for her welfare.

She is described as white, 5ft tall, with a large build and grey curly hair.

She was last seen wearing a red jumper, a blue body warmer, black trousers and sandals.

Officers are appealing for anyone who may have seen Mrs Boniface or a woman matching her description to contact police as a matter of urgency.

A number of searches are being carried out in the local vicinity in a bid to locate her. The helicopter has been deployed and teams from Surrey Search and Rescue have also been assisting in the search.
