Thomas Bennett Community College saw an improvement in A Level results for the third year running - with this year’s students achieving the best grades the school has ever seen.
The pass rate for grades A*-E was 98 per cent, with one third of students earning A*-B and 70 per cent earning A*-C.
The pass rate for vocational courses was 100 per cent for the fifth year running.
A statement released by headteacher Ben Smith and head of sixth form Shouvick Ghosh said: “Thomas Bennett has gone from strength to strength each year – our success has been due to our strong targeting and support for our students which was recognised in our last OFSTED report.
“On behalf of the students I would like to thank the members of staff who have given many additional hours of guidance and support to help them realise their potential.
“Many of our students achieved fantastic results, particularly in terms of measured progress since they joined Thomas Bennett.”
