Crawley fire crews put out fire in the back of van

Fire crews put out a fire in a van parked behind a Tesco store.

A spokesman for Crawley Fire Station said the two crews were called to the Tesco in Peterhouse Parade, Pound Hill, at around 3.18pm yesterday (Tuesday July 29).

A refrigeration extraction fan had caught fire in the van.

No one was injured.

The crew were at the scene for around 45 minutes.
