Crawley in the Britain in Bloom 2014 finals

Crawley has made it to the finals of Britain in Bloom 2014.

The town will be in for a chance to win its sixth consecutive gold at South and South East in Bloom.

Cllr Duncan Crow, Cabinet member for Leisure and Culture, said: “The council’s Amenity Services Department keep the town looking great year round, together with the input of our fantastic community groups through the Let’s FACE it! initiative.

“I really look forward to seeing how we get on this year!”

The town will represent the South East in the Large Town/Small City category.

The Royal Horticultural Society will judge the flowers in the area sometime between July 28 and August 8.

Crawley will go upagainst Bath, Bracknell, Chorley, Derry City, Harrogate, Loughborough, and Tamworth.
