Locksley Christian School in Manby rejects the accusations.

Ofsted said a nursery had “strong and effective” leadership and good teaching.

The inspectorate rated Busy Bees Day Nursery in Denvale Trade Park ‘Good’ - the second highest of four ratings - in a report it published on June 27.

Ofsted inspected it on April 30 after concerns were raised over child supervision during drop off and pick up times.

The report stated: “The provider was set an action to improve staffing arrangements in order that children are adequately supervised to ensure their safety and staff are deployed effectively so that children’s individual needs are met.

“The provider took prompt action in reviewing and updating the safeguarding policy and ensuring that staff account for all children at all times.”

Security was improved with a key fob entry and exit system.

Staff were “vigilant” during arrival and departure times.

The report stated: “The leadership team is strong and effective in driving improvement.”

The nursery provided “interesting and challenging” learning experiences.
