Crawley Scouts renew oaths in rain

Have your say

More than 100 cubs, scouts and beavers marched into Queens Square to renew their oaths.

The children, from 10 groups around the town braved a torrential downpour when they gathered at the bandstand on Sunday (April 27) following the St George’s celebrations.

Leaders kept the youngsters amused – and warm – with songs and games before the oaths were taken.
