Construction students built new friendships during a two-week residential trip to Berlin, the first to be offered by Central Sussex College.

The students, who all study carpentry or brickwork at the Crawley campus, were accompanied by tutors David Hartsilver and Garry Blunt. As well as learning about German history, culture and language, the students were given work experience placements with German employers. Some of the other highlights included visiting the remains of the Berlin Wall and seeing Checkpoint Charlie.
