Dragon Boat Festival fun for all the family

THE popular Dragon Boat Festival is returning to Tilgate Park on Sunday September 2 to raise money for St Catherine’s Hospice.

Around 30 teams will compete in fancy dress to row 40 foot-long boats across the lake.

The event, which is celebrating its 10th anniversary, will take place between 10am and 4pm and entry is free.

Food and drink will also be on sale throughout the day.

This year’s festival is sponsored by The Caravan Club, CGG Veritas and Just Retirement, who are all entering teams on the day.
