Crawley Town Football Club is to stage its first community carol concert on December 16.

Chief executive Michael Dunford said: “This a great opportunity for members of the Crawley Town family, including players, supporters and management, to come together to celebrate the true meaning of Christmas.

“Three local schools will be taking part: Seymour Primary School Broadfield, St Andrew’s Primary School Furnace Green and the Forest School in Horsham and the concert will be led by our club chaplain Rev Gary Simmonds.

“I would like to thank Gary for his efforts in organising the event at what is already a busy time for him in the build-up to Christmas. There will be short readings by members of staff and we want this to be a celebration of Christmas. Please come along and enjoy what should be a great evening.”

The concert starts at the checkatrade.com stadium in Broadfield at 7pm and admission will be free to everyone in the AJD Group West Stand. There will be refreshments available.
