Free ice cream and careers advice was a hit with shoppers

SHOPPERS enjoyed a free ice cream in the sun as part of the National Careers Service roadshow.

The National Careers Service ice cream van was staffed with trained careers advisers and provided information on learning and work on Friday (August 31).

Tracey Bell, a careers adviser who works with people in Crawley, said: “We spend all of our time working with local people to answer their questions about work and training, support them with decision-making and to unlock their potential.

“We know that the roadshow will help raise awareness of the service we can offer and allow us to reach more local residents.”
