More than 100 people enjoyed activities including croquet, bowls and swimming at the town’s first Living Well With Dementia day.
The event was held at K2 on May 21 and was run by Crawley Dementia Alliance in partnership with the Crawley Wellbeing Team as part of Dementia Awareness week.
Tim Wilkins, of Alzheimer’s Society, said: “It was a joy to see so many people affected with dementia engaged in the activities here at K2 Crawley.
“Dementia can be isolating but events such as this help bring people together socially and the activities help everyone gel as a group.”
The day ended with a session of Singing for the Brain, with Li Mills, who leads singing groups for people affected by dementia.
