Fund set up for charities

Town Centre North developer Land Securities has launched a fund to assist local charities and community groups to the tune of up to £1,000 each.

The company, which is currently working on the former Sussex House site - which will house a Morrison’s supermarket plus hotel and restaurants – launched the fund following discussion with Crawley Borough Council.

Funds will be prioritised in the areas of children and young people, older peoples’ activity and health and wellbeing.

Land Securities is keen to hear from voluntary organisations that require funding for capacity building and those that support young enterprise and young start-up businesses.

The money will be allocated in April-May and September-October.

For an application, contact Lindsay McCallum at lindsay.mccallum@ppsgroup.co.uk or on 020 7529 1719.

The closing date for application forms to be submitted is Monday March 25 at 5pm.
