A group of Hazelwick sixth-formers hit gold when they completed a project with aerospace simulation and training company L-3 Link.

Charis Bicknell, Ngan Le, Adam Leonard, Michael Vanea, Charlotte Warnes and Scott Woods spent six months using Raspberry Pi computers to come up with solutions to acceleration problems. They received the Gold Crest Award from the British Science Association and were able to share their project with senior engineers at a celebration day held at Brighton University.
