The Swan's golf society raises funds for Crawley Open House

A golf society has donated £1,131 to Crawley Open House after holding a charity day at Cuckfield Golf Club.

The Swan Public House Golf Society in West Green presented the cheque to the homeless shelter on February 17. The money was raised through sponsorship of the caddies who wore fancy dress for the day. The Swan’s landlord Robert Brindley thanked Cuckfield golf club for the use of the course and all the golfers and caddies that took part on the day.

In total £2,262 was raised and was shared equally between Crawley Open House and Crawley Open Fields.

Crawley Open House, provides a gateway to support services for the homeless, unemployed, lonely and those suffering descrimination or other forms of social exclusion.
